Dr. Dilman is a Board Certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who treats a broad spectrum of eye diseases, from macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy to glaucoma and cataracts. He has a special interest in toric and multifocal intraocular lens implants, glaucoma laser surgery, and novel treatments for blepharitis and dry eye syndrome.
Dr. Dilman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Dilman then completed a surgical internship, followed by ophthalmology residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. During his training, he was published several times in peer-reviewed journals and was chief resident.
Dr. Dilman is on staff at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, Chicago Ophthalmological Society, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Read more
